Founded by Gary Graham, we are a family-owned and operated dock building and dock repair service with a well-established reputation for excellence in the industry. We’ve Built It!

In 2007, Gary Graham had the vision to create a construction company that specialized in the complexities that accompany marine construction. When offered a chance to work on the historic and beloved Magnolia Plantation, he jumped at a chance to preserve the wonderful and rich historical beauty of the Charleston area, and soon made a name for himself and his company as a leader in dock building and repair work.

Charleston Dock & Repair began construction work on the Audubon Swamp, creating a 1750-foot walkway. What was originally a four-foot-wide walkway was expanded to eight feet to accommodate golf carts and provide for handicap-accessibility. He and his crew also added an observation deck and widened the bridges so everyone had an equal opportunity to enjoy an experience so unique to Charleston!
